Happy New Year

It's a New Year and time for a new resolve to make couponing a part of your daily life....(and fun!)
Hopefully you are all de-Christmas decorated (or at least thinking about it). Technically you have until the next holiday - Valentines day! There is something refreshing about making a new start to a new year and getting back into the routine of life. Now it's time to get serious about stocking back up. Over the holidays I was able to just use up my stockpiles and only ran to the store to get the neccessities (with a coupon of course)! This is the first year that has ever been possible. It took one more job off of my list of things to get done during the busy holiday bustle. Now, I'm using up the last of the reserves and excited to get back in the swing of couponing and shopping. Stockpiling is the key to being really succesful. With that said, realize that whatever it is that you are buying will go on sale again and you will have a coupon again. There is no reason to go crazy and fill your entire garage with cereal for the next 12 months (unless you are going to donate it to your local food bank). I buy enough to last me about 6 weeks. That's the average cycle for sales and coupons. That strategy got me through from Thanksgiving to now with no major shopping trips. Which has been pretty exciting for me. So, with all of your New Year's resolutions - resolve with me to be a smarter shopper, save money, give back and have fun doing it. I can't wait to see where this year takes us. I wonder what we'll know next year at this time?

I recently purchased the Qubie set and absolutely love it! Not only has it made me more organized but it has already paid for itself and I’ve only been using it for two weeks. I leave the entire set in my car and cannot get over how many coupons I now use that I would have left at home. If you do not have this product, I strongly recommend it.
